Great video of the arrivals to SAN, Lindbergh Field.

Look for the SEL Cessnas.

Years ago I did some consulting in downtown San Diego and flew into SAN at least monthly. Cheaper to pay the $20 ramp fee than the taxi ride from/to Montgomery. Long term SE members will recall that is where the FBO towed our 182 into a parked fuel truck and bought us a new wingtip and a car rental so I could get home.

It’s a great airport to practice wake turbulence procedures. Only one runway. “N759UP keep your speed up if possible, B737 three miles in trail, cleared to land, caution wake turbulence from a departing 757”.

Great tower staff, always a complement. “9UP, good job, thank you, make right turn off, contact ground.”

See you at our Holiday dinner!
